Blend drops of Paste Maker™ into clay until the desired consistency, then use on damp, leather-hard, bone-dry, or fired pieces for attachments, joins, seams,dry building, repairs, or multi-fire construction
Make smooth spackles, silky slips and pastes, and velvety soft clays, just by adding drops of Paste Maker™ to the clay of your choice and blending until you achieve your ideal texture.
Paste Maker™ can also be used along with water to help rehydrate fully dried chunks back into smooth, perfectly workable clay.
Make your own paste to make joins and attachments to damp, leather-hard or bone-dry metal clay. The paste also makes an excellent medium to be used for repairs after firing.
Directions: SHAKE WELL and mix a few drops (5 to 10) with a small, pea sized lump of clay until you have a smooth creamy paste. A rubber tipped tool or small stick works well. Mix to a viscosity needed for the type of attachment.
A thick, sticky mixture might be used to join dry or fired pieces. To make a thin slip, add more drops. Thin paste slip can be used to smooth over fired or unfired cracks.
Slip also works well to attach small decorative elements to a base piece. It can be applied over unfired clay to create various textures. Store paste (and clay) in a small, airtight container.

The vast majority of my items will be sent by a 'signed for' service for your piece of mind, and mine!
Additionally (in the UK), next day delivery is (usually, but not always - I may be out!) offered (on items already made, and paid for by 1pm) and will be charged at cost, please contact me before purchase to arrange this. Special delivery next day service is usually my standard method of delivery on jewellery items as only costume jewellery is insured by RM's signed for service - but if in doubt please don't hesitate to ask me.

I accept returns or cancellations on any item that is NOT made to order. Refund or replacement with another item is offered but excludes any shipping charges.

No cancellations after I have started on your order - I always inform you when I am about to start making it.
NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE ON PIERCING JEWELRY, PERSONAL JEWELRY (e.g. Earrings, PIERCING OR 'PRIVATE' JEWELRY) OR MADE TO ORDER ITEMS (WHICH MOST OF MY STUFF IS AS I USUALLY BUY IN THE RAW MATERIAL WHEN YOU ORDER) AND CUSTOM ORDERS.

Hallmarking - timescales, requirements and verifiability.
The UK 1973 Hallmarking Act requires by law that items weighing over 7.78grams in silver be hallmarked by the assay office. Items under this weight do not require this and may be stamped '925' or 'sterling' by the maker.
The UK assay office hallmark is your absolute guarantee of purity of metal.
I am registered with the Goldsmiths Assay office in London and have my own sponsors mark registered with them.
All of my items weighing over 7.7 grams of silver will have the full UK hallmark which incorporates my registered sponsors mark into it.
Items I make that are under 7.7 grams of silver will either have 925 and my initials marked on the back or, often, will have no marks at all. (occasionally I get them hallmarked under the 7 grams anyways!)
If you would like any of my smaller items to be hallmarked please contact me about the costs and times involved in doing so.
Hallmarking usually takes between one and three weeks to process, but can be expedited for an additional fee.
Custom made and made to order items for residents of other countries who do not wish for the items to be hallmarked (to save time and expense!)

Please ask when (or before) ordering if you wish to take advantage of the exemption I can still stamp your item 925 and with my initials in place of the assay office hallmark if required in this situation.

I am sorry but I do not accept returns or cancellations (or make refunds) on made to order, personalized and custom order items (unless I have made an error).
Cancellations can only be made BEFORE I have ordered the materials / started work on your items.
Once I have ordered the materials or started work on your item(s) then I will be unable to cancel or change your order.
